The following are quotes from both businesses’ representatives.
"We've been extremely fortunate, in these early stages, to have people within the derby community believe in our vision; contributors, subscribers, and advertisers alike. I see our pairing with Via as an important step in the growth of Blood & Thunder; it will allow us to concentrate on the artistic side of producing the magazine and ease the stress of a task that was simply too much work for one person! Thanks to everyone who played a part in making that sudden growth spurt happen!"
- Black Dahlia, Editor of Blood and Thunder
"I see it in my photography. When you are so passionate about something, like we all are about roller derby, our only problem could be success. We need to lend each other our resources to help further feed our passions into something more tangible and consistent. I think it's awesome that we at Via can help them out, especially since we have similar hopes for derby culture to thrive."
- Diesel , Creative Director at Via and roller derby player for the Angel City Derby Girls
"Providing the best customer service possible is really important to us at Black Graves Media, and it has been a struggle for us in the past because our business has grown... so quickly. Working with Via will not only improve our customer service and satisfaction, but it will also give us more time and energy to spend on the more creative aspects of the business. Things just keep getting better and better!"
-Robin Graves, Co-owner, Black Graves Media
"We are so happy to see something as modern and liberating as roller derby is to happen in an industry that solemnly sees much trends and change, such as roller skating. Coming from that industry, we fully support the ambitions of roller derby culture exciting the women that play, which I think Blood & Thunder has."
- Kacy, Head Bitch in Charge at Via and owner of Via, Skaterbros.com, CalSkateGT, Sk8host.com
