This Saturday, Jan 7th 2007, interleague derby action will converge on Wichita, Kansas at the Big Boy Toy Show (at the Century II Events Center). The exhibition tournament will feature six leagues: Assassination City (Dallas, TX), Kansas City, No Coast (Lincoln, NE), NorCal (Chico, CA) Texas Rollergirls (Austin, TX) and the ICT Roller Girls (Wichita, KS). Here's your chance for a KCRW preview - all eyes will be on them in the Western Region Tournament (Dust Devil) next month.

The No Coast Derby Girls held their first public bout on Saturday. The Lincoln Journal-Star has this write-up. "I think people are naturally attracted to violence, and men are naturally attracted to women," he said. "When you put that all on roller skates, it's gotta be a winning combination."
