high grip wheels

I am starting Hot Rod Skates and I have a process that takes the grip factor of skate wheels off the charts. If you have any questions contact me at hotrodscooters.com

for quick infor on the wheel program, although
emailing will allow you to share the info., with other skaters by forwarding.
This is some of the email I just sent Ivana,
I got a couple calls on saving old wheels but lost one I think it was
in the 908 area code. I don't know if it's from you myspace or
leadjammer but I will
ask people where they saw the blog. I would never try to tell you
what to do as far as testing you by far are the expert here , one
thing to consider
when doing development testing it is about trying stuff you would not normally
do .
Half of science is proving what doesn't work, in this case what we
would be looking for is results. If running the helix wheels all the
way around provides insane grip then we will have established that
and can move on to blending wheel position for speed and grip.
Something also to consider is if we groove a hard wheel it should be
fast down the straight away and once you apply thrust to them then
they should start
to grip. We do have allot of ground to cover and once we have a starting
point then the development will take off like wild fire!

Having to change your stride is understandable it's the same for any racing
as a matter of fact some track conditions will change from the beginning of a race to the end. So you ether change your set up or if
you can't you have to adjust the style . It's funny how the derby and
racing have the same challenges , grip verses speed. I just got another fixture for my mill and this will allow a new tread design and
there is still a deep groove radial style
and a combo helix and radial.
There are so many combinations and once we figure out how each wheel
works, because they all have a little different job, we will be able to custom tune
wheel patterns for any track condition. We might even see as many as
six different wheels in one set up! The testing will say all but we have to test things that might not seem straight forward. there are something that are not obvious and others that are , at this point we
can guess what we think work and then try it and then something totally opposite
just to prove or disprove the theory.
There was a style motorcycle tire that was around forever and one day a guy
was looking at the way the carcase was wound and figured that there would be less deflection if the tire was run backwards!
No shit it did work better and now the manufacture changed the directional arrow and sells the tire that way!
So things are not always as they seem that's why we need to do as much testing as possible by as many top skaters out there , team
Awsome will be perfect!! lets get'm ROLL'N!!
